Sync & privacy
Off by default. Encrypted when you turn it on.
The diary needs no account and no connection — that is the normal way to use it. If you want the same grow on your phone and your laptop, sync is there, and it is built so that nobody but you can read a single note.
- Optional: no account, no upload, unless you ask for it
- End-to-end encrypted: notes and photos are sealed on your device
- We cannot read it — the key never leaves your device
- Servers in the EU, email only, no real name
- Delete it any time — the copy, or the whole account
You get a recovery key once when you switch sync on. It is the only way back into the cloud copy if you forget your password — which is exactly what real encryption means. Your diary on your devices is never affected.
